Assignment description:
An essay that should look like a typical essay. You should use the module readings in the literature review section (500 words topic 1 or 2, 500 words topic 3). Topic 3 is a must select topic, while the other 2 you can choose just one of them.
The case study section should be where you describe the entrepreneur you selected and their business. Select an entrepreneur and gather information on them. It can be anyone who has started a business.
in your discussion you need to focus on how the case compares and contrasts with the literature you reviewed.
Read the instructions carefully as they detail the 3 steps you need to take in doing this – pick a proposition from the literature (e.g entrepreneurs are born with a particular set of cognitive abilities / effectuation is key to setting up a new venture), discuss how your case demonstrates this, and then step 3 Discuss what your case study tells us about (i) what we know already on this topic (how it demonstrates what the literature says), (ii) how current literature explanations might be improved, and (iii) implications for practice of entrepreneurship.
